DIY (Do It Yourself) means "do it yourself."

With this guide, learn how to create your own e-liquids in a practical, safe, and economical way.

Explore concentrated flavors to develop unique and personalized recipes, or use longfills to prepare liquids quickly. If desired, add nicotine with full control over flavor and vapor intensity, ensuring an experience completely tailored to your taste.

What is E-Liquid?

E-liquid is the liquid used in vaporizers, typically composed of:

  • Propylene Glycol (PG): Carries flavor and provides a "throat hit."
  • Vegetable Glycerin (VG): Generates dense, smooth vapor.
  • Concentrated Flavorings: Fruits, desserts, tobacco, mint, among others.
  • Nicotine (Optional): Adjusts the intensity of the hit and the vaping experience.

Advantages of Making Your Own E-Liquid

  • Complete control: Choose the ingredients to your liking.
  • Customization: Create unique flavor combinations.
  • Economy: Produce only what you need, avoiding waste.
  • Experimentation: Try new recipes without limitations.
  • Safety: When handling nicotine, always wear gloves and safety glasses.

    Necessary Equipment

    • Mixing Bottles: For preparing and storing e-liquid.
    • Pipettes or Syringes: For accurate measurements.
    • Gloves and Safety Glasses: Essential when handling nicotine.

    How to Prepare Concentrated Flavors

Concentrated flavors are pure essences developed exclusively for e-liquids.
⚠️ They cannot be used neat; they must always be diluted in a VG/PG base, with or without nicotine.
    • Function: Responsible for flavor.
    • Base: Generally dissolved in PG.
    • Standard bottles: 10 to 30 ml.
    • Difference from Longfills: With flavors, you calculate the percentage; with longfills, the flavor is already pre-dosed in a larger bottle.
    • Shake the flavor well before use.
    • Choose the base:
      • 100% VG → smoother, denser vapor
      • 70VG/30PG → balance between flavor, vapor, and "hit"
    • Calculate the desired percentage.
      Example: 100 ml of e-liquid with 10% flavor → 10 ml of flavor + 90 ml of VG/PG base.
    • Add Nicotine (Optional):
Adjust the amount of Dry Shot (nicotine in PG) and subtract this volume from the base.
      • Examples for 100 ml (with 10% flavor):
      • Low (1,8 mg/ml): 10 ml flavor + 5 ml Dry Shot + 85 ml base
      • Medium (6 mg/ml): 10 ml flavor + 5 ml Dry Shot + 85 ml base
      • High (12 mg/ml): 10 ml flavor + 5 ml Dry Shot + 85 ml base
    • Use a pipette or syringe to measure the ingredients and fill the bottle according to the recommended ratio.
    • Maturation:
Let the liquid rest for maceration and optimal flavor development:
      • Fruity: 1–3 days
      • Dessert/tobacco: 1–2 weeks
      • Store in a sealed container in a cool, dark place.
    • Adjustments:
      • More flavor → more intense flavor
      • More base → softens flavor and throat hit
      • More nicotine → increases throat sensation
⚠️ Warning: Large changes can unbalance the recipe.

    How to Prepare Longfills

Longfills are bottles that already contain the concentrated flavor in the exact quantity, with free space to top up with base and nicotine.
⚠️ They cannot be used neat; they must always be diluted with VG/PG base, with or without nicotine.
    • Convenience: Simply open, add base/nicotine, and shake.
    • Control: You decide the VG/PG ratio and nicotine strength.
    • Economy: You only buy what you'll use.
    1. Open the bottle (check the seal).
    2. Choose the base:
      • 100% VG → smoother, denser vapor
      • 70VG/30PG → balance between flavor, vapor, and "hit"
    3. Add Nicotine (Optional):
Adjust the amount of Dry Shot (nicotine in PG) and subtract this volume from the base.
      • Examples for 60 ml with 20 ml of flavor:
      • Low (3 mg/ml): 20 ml flavor + 5 ml Dry Shot + 35 ml base
      • Medium (10 mg/ml): 20 ml flavor + 5 ml Dry Shot + 35 ml base
      • High (20 mg/ml): 20 ml flavor + 5 ml Dry Shot + 35 ml base
    4. Top up with base until you reach the final volume (e.g., 60 ml).
    5. Shake well until smooth.
      ⚠️
Caution: Longfills are always 100% PG → use bases with a high VG content. Avoid 50VG/50PG → they can result in drier, harsher vapor.
